Not To Scale Signs Director Chris Curtis

Director’s distinct take on illustration, animation and storytelling adds depth to brand identities.

Production Company Not To Scale announce the signing of mixed media Director Chris Curtis. The exciting news will see Chris work across Not To Scale’s multi directional roster in London, New York and Amsterdam.

As a mixed media director Chris is an expert in bringing illustration and live action worlds together for commercials, music video’s and more. His unique directional eye for unexpected journeys and poignant performances have created films which challenge and add depth to brand identities.  Working with exciting car makers such as Audi and Chrysler, Chris has produced stand out commercials like the stereoscopic cinema film ‘A Day in the Life of an Audi Driver’, which was seen nationally by 20 million people, and Audi ‘Dominoes’ which featured frequently throughout the 2014 Football World Cup.  Chris’ focus is on increasing the dramatic and narrative aspects to his work. Utilising his talents for directing comedy actors in the TV sitcom pilot Fleapit, a physical comedy/film genre mash up, we can continue to expect the visually unexpected with his distinct take on illustration, animation and storytelling.

An important part of the creative process for Chris is to forge a close relationship with the agencies, clients, record labels and bands. Which result in a rewarding and unified vision for everyone involved, and frequently leads to long term associations and a evolving, meaningful creative journey. Welcome Chris.
