Nick Launches More 'TMNT', 'SpongeBob' Halloween Episode

Nickelodeon launches season two of hit animated series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; treats viewers to all-new Halloween-themed episode of SpongeBob SquarePants.

On Saturday, Oct. 12, at 11:00 a.m. (ET/PT), the crime-fighting adventures of the four mutant turtles—Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo continue during season two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  In the premiere episode, “The Mutation Situation,” the Turtles discover that the alien Kraang survived their previous showdown and now have dropped mutagen canisters all over NYC.

Throughout the season, the Turtles’ mission is to recover the canisters before more mutants can be created.  Meanwhile, the Kraang and Shredder have united to put an end to the Turtles once and for all, which results in some very scary characters coming after the brothers.  With Casey Jones’ (voiced by Nickelodeon alum Josh Peck) help, the Turtles take on some of the most bizarre and dangerous villains they have ever seen, all the while trying to unravel the mystery regarding April O'Neil and her importance to the Kraang.

Fans can visit Nick.com to play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Trick or Treat Tussle to get in to the ghoulish spirit. All four Turtles and April must defeat enemies to collect mutagen-covered candy.

Then, on Monday, Oct. 14, at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT), SpongeBob’s nautical escapades continue when Nickelodeon brings viewers a spooky night of ghostly fun.  First in, “Don't Look Now,” Mr. Krabs gets trapped in Bikini Bottom’s brand‐new bank, and it’s up to SpongeBob and Patrick to save him.  Then in, “Séance Schméance,” SpongeBob and Patrick go to see the latest horror film, only to be seemingly stalked by the villain. SpongeBob holds a séance at the Krusty Krab to learn the recipe for a long‐lost sandwich.

Beginning Oct. 14, SpongeBob fans can visit Nick.com to play an all-new game, SpongeBob’s Gone Missing. There’s a Halloween party on the Dutchman’s Ship and Patrick has to bypass the ghosts using his trusty flashlight and try and find where SpongeBob is. Patrick will encounter many different kinds of ‘SpongeBobs,’ Bikini Bottom citizens dressed as SpongeBob for Halloween, to find the real yellow sponge.
