Nick Draws Hoots And Howls With Halloween-Themed Premieres

Nickelodeon offers a slate of spooky, side-splitting programming this Halloween, including the premiere of the two-hour TV movie, The Boy Who Cried Werewolf, a teen comedy with a sci-fi twist starring Victoria Justice (Victorious) and Brooke Shields, on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT).

NEW YORK – Oct. 18, 2010 – Nickelodeon offers a slate of spooky, side-splitting programming this Halloween, including the premiere of the two-hour TV movie, The Boy Who Cried Werewolf, a teen comedy with a sci-fi twist starring Victoria Justice (Victorious) and Brooke Shields, on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT).  The festivities kick off as Big Time Rush undergoes frightful transformations in the premiere of “Big Time Halloween” on Friday, Oct. 22, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT), followed by a weeklong stunt of Halloween-themed live-action and animated shows from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. from Monday, Oct. 25, through Friday, Oct. 29.

Nickelodeon will also offer sneak peeks of the network’s Halloween-themed premieres on Nick.com and NickJrVideo.com, as well as on Nickelodeon’s mobile video-on-demand platforms.  A special playlist of favorite spooky episodes, including live-action, animated and preschool programming, will be available on Nickelodeon’s video-on-demand platforms.  A Halloween-themed bundle of content will be available via Nickelodeon’s download-to-own partners, including one dedicated solely to SpongeBob SquarePants.  All Halloween-themed content airing on Nickelodeon during the month of October will be simulcast on Nick Mobile.

Nick Preschool treats tots to two new Halloween-themed preschool premieres on Monday, Oct. 25, beginning with Team Umizoomi’s “The Ghost Family Costume Party” at 11:30 a.m., followed by The Fresh Beat Band’s “The Giant Pumpkin” at 1:30 p.m.

Nick at Nite offers a marathon of Halloween-themed family favorites on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., including episodes from George Lopez, Everyone Hates Chris, Malcolm in the Middle and Family Matters.

Nicktoons will enter a “transformative” state this Halloween starting with its name, “WEENHALLO WEEKEND,” beginning Saturday, Oct. 30, and Sunday, Oct. 31, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET.  The programming will showcase favorite Nicktoons characters “transforming” into their opposites; good guys will go bad, bad guys will go good and strange guys will get even stranger.

Friday, Oct. 228:00 p.m. – Big Time Rush (Premiere)“Big Time Halloween” – It’s Halloween in Palm Woodsylvania and the monstrous personas of Big Time Rush come to light: James is a Vampire, Logan is a Zombie who keeps losing his limbs, Carlos is Franken-Carlos and Kendall is a Werewolf who is trying to hide his real identity from Jo.

8:00 p.m. – The Boy Who Cried Werewolf (Two-Hour TV Movie Premiere)Jordan Sands (Victoria Justice) is an awkward, allergy-prone 17-year-old, forced to be the woman of the house after her mother’s death.  Her father, David (Matt Winston, Little Miss Sunshine), is struggling to make ends meet, while her younger brother, Hunter (Chase Ellison, Tooth Fairy), drives his family crazy with gory pranks.  Things start to look up when they inherit their Great Uncle Dragomir Vucovic’s castle in Wolfsberg, Romania, which could relieve them of their financial woes.  After arriving in Wolfsberg during Moonlight Mania, they meet the strange and steely Madame Varcolac (Shields), who discourages David from selling the property, but perky real estate agent Paulina Von Eckberg (Brooke D’Orsay, Royal Pains) has other plans in mind.  The Sands’ visit goes awry when a freak lab accident gradually transforms Jordan into a werewolf.  Jordan’s dark, hairy side is dangerous to others, and the change confuses her new suitor, Goran (Steven Grayhm), the town’s young, attractive butcher.  In order to salvage her crush and return back to her normal self, Jordan must rely on her pesky little brother and Madame V to save her before it’s too late.

Monday, Oct. 25 7:00 p.m. – iCarly“iScream on Halloween” – Carly, Sam, and Freddie do iCarly from an apartment that is rumored to be haunted.  When creepy things start happening, the friends worry that the ghost rumors just might be true.  When Spencer forgets to buy candy, he's got a bunch of angry trick-or-treaters on his hands.

7:30 p.m. – SpongeBob SquarePants“Scaredy Pants” – It’s Halloween again, and like every year before, SpongeBob is the easiest scare in Bikini Bottom. This year SpongeBob is determined to turn the tables and scare everyone at Mr. Krabs’ Halloween party. “The Curse of Bikini Bottom” – SpongeBob and Patrick disturb the Flying Dutchman’s slumber and he turns them into ghosts.

Monday, Oct. 2511:30 a.m. – Team Umizoomi (Premiere)“The Ghost Family Costume Party” – It’s Halloween and nobody is more excited than the team’s newest pal… the hilarious Little Ghost!  Every year, all the funny ghosts get together for the big Ghost Family Costume Party.  Little Ghost can’t wait to get there and show everyone his silly costume.  There’s only one problem… to get to the party Little Ghost has to figure out four Halloween riddles!  He’s going to need some help!  Team Umizoomi uses their mighty math powers to help Little Ghost find the old house, climb a tricky staircase, sneak past a black cat, rearrange some talking pumpkins, and make it to the party just in time for the big surprise.

1:30 p.m. – The Fresh Beat Band (Premiere)“The Giant Pumpkin” – Shout picks a giant pumpkin for the Fall Festival but it’s too big to move by himself.  So the Fresh Beats work together to move it.  They get to the festival in time and perform as a quartet with their giant pumpkin!

Friday, Oct. 2910:30 p.m. – Glenn Martin, DDS “Halloween Hangover” – Jackie wants the kids to have the best Halloween ever, so she goes overboard decorating their RV and competes with the over-the-top decorations on the trailer next door.  But the night is threatened when Glenn eats candy for the first time and immediately develops a sugar addiction.  Meanwhile, Courtney is feeling threatened when she learns that Wendy has a crush on Conor.

Saturday, Oct. 3010:00 p.m. – George Lopez “Halloween Cheer” – George prepares the house for Halloween, his favorite holiday, while dealing with the stress of hiring an assembly line worker whose life is a disaster.  Meanwhile, Angie helps Carmen get accepted on the cheerleading squad in an effort to help her become more popular, but Carmen’s not the kind of girl Angie was in high school.

10:30 p.m. – George Lopez“Leave it to Lopez” – As Halloween approaches, George feels guilty about his failure to buy life insurance.  He becomes obsessed with death, resulting in nightmares that hearken back to his childhood television fixations.  In fantasy sequences, George envisions his family members as characters from The Munsters, The Jetsons and Leave It to Beaver.

11:00 p.m. – George Lopez “No One Gets Out Alive” – After the crash of an airplane built from parts made at George’s factory, the nervous employees blame one another.  An inspector interviews them and then closes the plant temporarily until it is determined what happened.  To earn money for the displaced staffers, the Lopez family turns their home into a haunted house on Halloween.  Meanwhile, Benny suffers a delayed reaction to the accident.

11:30 p.m. – George Lopez“Trick or Treat Me Right” – As Halloween approaches, George and Angie play practical jokes that are even funnier and scarier than ever before.  But when Benny’s abusive comments and behavior grow worse, George finds it impossible to laugh things off and threatens to make some big changes.

12:00 a.m. – Everybody Hates Chris “Everybody Hates Halloween” – Chris’ plans to attend his neighbor Lisa’s big Halloween party are threatened when his mother Rochelle makes him take his younger brother and sister trick-or-treating. Meanwhile, Chris and Greg attempt to dodge holiday pranksters armed with rotten eggs at school. And Rochelle objects when cost-conscious Julius wants to give trick-or-treaters generic “M and Ns,” “Nickers” and “Gravy Ways.”

12:30 a.m. – Malcolm in the Middle “Halloween” – On Halloween Hal freaks out when he learns the family’s house was once the site of a murder-suicide.  Meanwhile Reese and Dewey run from a old man in a walker after egging him and Lois struggles to get a break from work so she can go trick-or-treating with Jamie.

1:00 a.m. – Family Matters“Stevil” – Steve's ventriloquist dummy comes to life on Halloween, wreaking havoc in the Winslow household.

1:30 a.m. – Family Matters“Who’s Kid Is It Anyway” – Eddie promises to take Richie trick-or-treating, but he leaves Richie with Waldo, who loses the boy.

-more-2:00 a.m. – Family Matters “Dark and Stormy Night” – In a ghost story that the Winslow family invents during a power outage on Halloween, Carl and Harriette play vampires living in a castle.

Tuesday, Oct. 269:00 p.m. – Degrassi“Monster Moon” Halloween Mini, Part 2 (Premiere)With the dance in full swing, Eli tries to get a little one-on-one time with girlfriend Clare in a deserted hallway. What he doesn’t know is that she has a self-indulgent plan of her own.
