New York Digital Salon Highlights Digital Art Of All Kinds

The 8th New York Digital Salon is an international juried exhibition of prints, sculptures, interactive installments, performances, animation, digital video and Internet art made with the computer. The jury will pick 85 entries from over 800 applicants to be showcased in the exhibit. After its run in New York, the exhibit plans to tour Europe and Asia. Previously, it has traveled to Milan, Italy; Barcelona, Madrid, Alicante, Valladolid and the Canary Islands, Spain; and Lisbon, Portugal. The event will be kicked off with a reception on November 6 from 6 8 pm. The Visual Arts Museum is open Monday Wednesday and Friday from 9 am to 6:30 pm, Thursday from 9 am to 8 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.
