The New ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ Trailer is as Funny and Visually Stunning as We Hoped!

He’s neither cow, nor dalmatian… he’s ‘The Spot,’ and he’s the new villain Miles Morales must face… along with his mom’s wrath for getting just a B in Spanish… and a sea of competing Spideys, in the snazzy, jazzy, and tantalizingly stylized trailer for the highly anticipated sequel, hitting theaters June 2.

He’s back galivanting across the multiverse with Gwen Stacy after skipping out on an important school meeting with his parents… and a dreaded B in Spanish reveal. Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man soon finds himself catapulted across the Multiverse to encounter a team of Spideys protecting its very existence.

But who could imagine… heroes clash, and there’s a new threat – neither cow nor Dalmatian, but… The Spot! Plus other Spider-folks.

Miles must figure out what being a hero really means, so he can save the people he loves the most.

Hold onto your seats… here comes six different styles of animation in the new trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

The film stars Shameik Moore; Hailee Steinfeld; Jake Johnson; Issa Rae; Daniel Kaluuya; Karan Soni; Jason Schwartzman; Brian Tyree Henry; Luna Lauren Velez; Greta Lee; Rachel Dratch; Jorma Taccone; Shea Whigham; and Oscar Isaac.

Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson co-direct the film, which is written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham. Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Lord, Miller, and Christina Steinberg are producing. Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, Rodney Rothman, Aditya Sood, Rebecca Karch, and Brian Bendis executive produce.

Initially scheduled for an October 7, 2022 theatrical releaseAcross the Spider-Verse now hits cinemas June 2, 2023.
