Founded by Craig A Platt, Des Esposito, Chris Nesheim, creative director Josh Beaumont, and music EVP Toddrick Spalding, the company will specialize in theatrical trailers, live-action production, behind-the-scenes features, and more.
A new media giant has been born. So far so good. Full-service creative advertising agency Major Major has officially opened in Los Angeles, boasting some truly impressive veteran creatives and executives from across the entertainment industry.
Major Major was founded by trailer guru and former SVP at Showtime Craig A Platt; previous EVP of creative advertising at Paramount Des Esposito; multiple Clio winner Chris Nesheim; previous Mob Scene creative director Josh Beaumont; and music EVP Toddrick Spalding. The company will specialize in theatrical trailers, live-action production, behind-the-scenes features, and much more. In addition to the all-star founders, the staff has a combined 50 years-experience in major VFX-heavy features (Dune, Logan, Aquaman), animation, (Frozen, Coco, Zootopia), and even big budget streaming projects (Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power), so the sky's the limit when it comes to potential content.
“Our team is the best our industry has to offer,” said Platt, who earned Golden Trailer awards for Gravity, Judas and The Black Messiah, Hangover Part III, The Dark Knight Rises, and The Suicide Squad. “The company is built on our desire to collaborate and bring the best creative out of every person and project we work with.”
Already the overachiever, Major Major has formed a launch partnership with post-production provider Vortechs, which has worked on feature films, television and streaming.
