A new production studio will be opening this summer in Philadelphia, called UArts Motion Heads (http://motionheads.uarts.edu/), a studio that incorporates various methods of animation with live-action, original music, voice-over talent, motion graphics and illustration.
John Serpentelli is the director, and the studio is set to hire recent grads and alumni to produce high quality products for a very reasonable rate. "By being in Philly and hiring the most talented young people, the client gets a great rate and the college grads get real life experience," Serpentelli said. Serpentelli, former Director of Animation Stewdio, has directed nearly 100 short films for networks such as Nickelodeon, HBO, PBS as well as commercial work.
