The new series from ‘30 Rock’s Robert Carlock, Sam Means, and Tina Fey follows a rag-tag band of survivors who must start Earth’s society from scratch after an alien destroys the planet; show hits the streamer next month.
Netflix has shared a teaser trailer, first look character images, and cast announcements for its upcoming new 2D adult animated comedy series Mulligan, from Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and 30 Rock's Robert Carlock, Sam Means, and Tina Fey. The show hits the streamer May 12.
In the series, after an alien attack destroys Earth, a rag-tag band of survivors must start society over from scratch. It’s an opportunity to learn from humanity’s past mistakes and get things right this time. Or make the same mistakes all over again. Probably the second one.
The show stars Nat Faxon; Chrissy Teigen; Fey, Sam Richardson; Dana Carvey; and Phil LaMarr, with recurring guest stars Daniel Radcliffe; Ayo Edebiri; Ronny Chieng; and Kevin Michael Richardson.
Mulligan is co-created by executive producers Carlock and Means, who serve as co-showrunners. Executive producers include Fey; David Miner; Eric Gurian; Scott Greenberg; and Joel Kuwahara. Universal Television (a division of NBCUniversal Content Studios) produces in association with Little Stranger, Inc., Bevel Gears, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Bento Box Entertainment.
