Netflix Hosting Free ‘Asian Creatives in Animation’ Virtual Event

In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, seven top creative professionals will participate in a panel discussion on creating community and fostering diversity in the animation industry.

Netflix is hosting “Asian Creatives in Animation,” a free virtual event set for Friday, May 7 at 11:30am PT. The event promises to be an engaging and authentic conversation featuring seven Asian and Asian-American creative professionals working in the animation space:

  • Jennifer Yuh Nelson – supervising director – Love, Death & Robots Vol. 2
  • Lynn Wang – director
  • Megan Dong – creator, showrunner – Centaurworld
