Netflix Drops ‘Mulligan’ Trailer and Key Art

In the new animated comedy from Tina Fey, Robert Carlock, and Sam Means, when most of Earth is destroyed by aliens, a few survivors must rebuild what’s left of America and form a ‘more perfect union’…? The show premieres May 12.

Netflix has shared an official trailer and key art for its upcoming new 2D adult animated comedy series, Mulligan, from Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and 30 Rock's Robert Carlock, Sam Means, and Tina Fey. The show debuts May 12.

In the series, a rag-tag band of survivors must start society over from scratch after an alien attack destroys Earth. A working-class everyman from Boston, Matty (Nat Faxon), who single-handedly saved the world, now finds himself in way over his head as the leader of (what’s left of) humanity, which has a chance to learn from its past mistakes and get things right… or make the same mistakes all over again. Hmm, what’ll it be?

The show stars Faxon; Chrissy Teigen; Fey, Sam Richardson; Dana Carvey; and Phil LaMarr, with recurring guest stars Daniel Radcliffe; Ayo Edebiri; Ronny Chieng; and Kevin Michael Richardson.

Mulligan is co-created by executive producers Carlock and Means, who serve as co-showrunners. Executive producers include Fey; David Miner; Eric Gurian; Scott Greenberg; and Joel Kuwahara. Universal Television (a division of NBCUniversal Content Studios) produces in association with Little Stranger, Inc., Bevel Gears, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Bento Box Entertainment.
