Netflix Drops ‘Agent Elvis’ Official Trailer and Cast

Matthew McConaughey and Priscilla Presley star in the new adult animated action-comedy about the infamous King of Rock and Roll re-imagined as an undercover spy; the series debuts March 17.

Netflix has just released the official trailer and art (…thank you very much) for its new adult animated action-comedy series, Agent Elvis, featuring the King himself, Elvis Presley. Also announced - the voice behind the King, Matthew McConaughey, will star alongside Priscilla Presley, who voices herself. And if that’s not enough to tide you over, the streaming giant has announced the series premiere slated for March 17 and shared the official trailer (below).

In the series, Elvis Presley trades in his jumpsuit for a jet pack when he is covertly inducted into a secret government spy program to battle the dark forces that threaten the country he loves – all while holding down his day job as the King of Rock And Roll.

Kaitlin Olson, Johnny Knoxville, Niecy Nash, Tom Kenny, and Don Cheadle join McConaughey and Presley with a guest star line-up that includes Ed Helms; Jason Mantzoukas; Christina Hendricks; Kieran Culkin; Chris Elliot; Asif Ali; Fred Armisen; Ego Nwodim; Simon Pegg; Craig Robinson; Gary Cole; George Clinton; Tara Strong; and Tony Cavalero.

Presley and John Eddie serve as co-creators and executive producers, with Mike Arnold as showrunner, head writer, and executive producer. Eddie is co-showrunner and writer with Kevin Noel; McConaughey; Chris Prynoski; Shannon Prynoski; Antonio Canobbio; Ben Kalina; Jamie Salter; Corey Salter; and Marc Rosen as executive producers. Fletcher Moules is co-executive producer.

The series is the first adult animated project from Sony Pictures Animation and is produced in partnership with Authentic Brands Group and Titmouse.

Academy Award nominee Robert Valley brings Elvis Presley’s iconic look to animation, and legendary fashion designer John Varvatos designs Agent Elvis’ wardrobe.
