Kay Benbow at CBeebies has already ordered the first series for broadcast in the UK in 2014.
The 26 x 22-minute (52 x 11-minute episodes) series is the first in Nerd Corps’ growing slate of preschool properties; it is created by award-winning husband and wife team Scott and Julie Stewart and developed by Nerd Corps.

We fell in love with the concept behind Kate and Mim-Mim, and Julie and Scott are just the kind of creators we want to work with,” said Ken Faier, el Presidente at Nerd Corps Entertainment. “FME has a proven track record in global brand development so working with them offers us a fantastic opportunity to extend this property worldwide.”

Kate and Mim-Mim is a character-driven comedy filled with fun and adventure, targeting kids aged three to six. Theproperty centres on the friendship between a feisty five-year-old named Kate, and her plush toy bunny, Mim-Mim. When Kate travels to the fantastical world of her imagination, Mim-Mim grows to 10 times his size and springs to life as Kate’s loyal BFF and co-pilot in their laugh-filled adventures.
