MTV's Judy McGrath Joins Industry Insider Lineup At The 2005 International CES

Judy McGrath, chairman/ceo, MTV Networks will deliver an Industry Insider address at the upcoming 2005 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on Jan. 6, 2005, at 2:30 p.m. in room N250 of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The International CES, the world's largest annual technology tradeshow, runs January 6-9 in Las Vegas.

"As a worldwide leader in entertainment television, reaching more than 400 million viewers in 164 countries, MTV Networks brings a vibrant global brand and culture to the International CES," said Karen Chupka, vp of events and conferences at the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the producer of CES. "Judy McGrath's participation is a perfect complement to the growing presence of content and cable providers at CES and we look forward to hearing her dynamic vision."

An MTV veteran from the network's first days, McGrath has more than 20 years of experience in the cable television industry. Chairman/ceo of MTV Networks as of July 2004, McGrath is responsible for the overall direction of MTV, MTV2, VH1, CMT, Comedy Central and the recently announced LOGO, set to launch in 2005. LOGO will be the first advertising-supported network targeted at the lesbian and gay communities. She also oversees Nickelodeon, Nick at Night, Spike TV, TV Land, Noggin, The N, MTV Networks Digital Suite, MTV Networks International and all of the company's related films, consumer products and digital businesses.

McGrath joins Mike Ramsay, co-founder/chairman/ceo of TiVo Inc., as confirmed Industry Insiders for the 2005 International CES. Ramsay's address will take place on January 7, at 10:30 a.m. in room N250.
