Monster Distributes is having its busiest post market yet following its move to a larger stand at MIPTV.
Monster launched the recently restored half hour animated film BANJO THE WOODPILE CAT to huge interest from the international market, with a pan-Scandinavian DVD and publishing rights sale to Sun Tower, a television sale to M-NET Africa and a DVD rights sale to Entertainment Unlimited for South Africa the first sales of the market. The film has not been seen before on TV or released on DVD and has already been sold to DR Denmark and RTE Ireland, with Bowline taking all rights for Eastern Europe.
DR Denmark has just taken animated kids series LIFEBOAT LUKE, while KIDS TEN COMMANDMENTS and PAWS AND TALES have been sold to TVP Poland, with Voxel licensing new non-dialogue animated series GAZOON for Eastern Europe and Entertainment Unlimited South Africa taking the DVD rights to the series for South Africa. Innova Distribution will take Internet and IPTV rights for Russia, CIS and Baltic States. Monster's programming is working well on the airlines also, with Aerosvit and Air Malta taking non-dialogue series JUNGLE BEAT.
