'Mia and me' Grabs Second Season

m4e and Hahn Film announce production of a second season of hit animated series “Mia and me.”


Höhenkirchen/Munich -- m4e and Hahn Film announced that hit animated television series Mia and me will be continued for a second season. The highly successful ratings of the program convinced the production partners to greenlight a second season with 26 new episodes.


The joint venture of m4e, Hahn Film and Lucky Punch will helm the production, in co-production with Rainbow and March Entertainment. The new season is scheduled for delivery in 2014/2015.


Mia and me is an exciting fantasy adventure set in Centopia, a fabulous and mystical world filled with unicorns, elves, pans and dragons. Twelve-year-old Mia finds herself hurled into the wondrous world of Centopia, where she becomes an animated fairytale elf, while at the same time she’s trying to fit in at her new school in her real life.


Mia and me won the MIP Junior Licensing Challenge Award in 2011, and was named Best Animated TV-Series for Kids at the 2012 International Trickfilm Festival in Stuttgart.
