Medsn, a leading medical education company, was honored with a Gold IN-AWE award for Medical Education - Animation at the Medical Marketing Association's (MMA) national conference June 24, 2004.
Medsn received its award for "Protease Inhibitors: Targeting the HAART of HIV," a global learning program that featured 3D animation to demonstrate the complexity of a new HIV compound, its mechanism of action, and its unique clinical profile in comparison to a variety of other medications.
Other winners in the Animation category were Invivo Com, winning silver for its work for Cryocath Technologies Inc. and a silver award went to BioLucide Prods. for its project for Prometheius Laboratories. A sliver also went to iMed Studios for its work for GlaxoSmithKline and a bronze went to Goble & Assoc. for its production for Upsher-Smith Laboratories.
Medsn also received an Award for Excellence for Animation for this program at the Rx Club Show in New York City. The award-winning Medsn team includes Allen Levinson as creative director/art director, John Meisner, M.D. as copywriter, Donovan Miller as audio producer and Chris Nadolski as medical illustrator.
