Ian McShane (PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES) has joined the cast of Bryan Singer's JACK THE GIANT KILLER, reports Heat Vision. He takes the role of the king, whose daughter (Eleanor Tomlinson) is kidnapped by giants. A farm boy (Nicholas Hoult) and lover of the princess leads a band to save her. The rest of the cast includes Stanley Tucci, Ewan McGregor, Bill Nighy and John Kassir.
