MAZEfilms to Produce 3-D Fantasy Feature Eli

MAZEfilms, Inc. has begun pre-production on a $25 million feature, “Eli,” to be shot in North America and parts of Europe.

Los Angeles, CA – April 6, 2010 – MAZEfilms, Inc. has begun pre-production on a $25 million feature, “Eli,” to be shot in North America and parts of Europe. Daniel Maze will direct from a script by Maze and Alexander Yurchikov.

“Eli” will be produced by Saskia Boedt, photographed by Keith Dunkerley, and scored by Konstantinos Zacharopoulos. Principal photography will begin in the fall of 2010 in stereoscopic 3D.

The film is a fantasy which focuses on a young boy who discovers that his teacher is a witch intent on stealing the soul of his ill sister. After Eli discovers her intentions, an angel appears to help him defeat the witch and conquer his fears.
