Brie Larson returns as Captain Marvel this Fall alongside Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton and Park Seo-joon.
Fans who tuned in to Good Morning America this morning were treated to a preview of Marvel Studios’ upcoming actioner, The Marvels, starring Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton and Park Seo-joon. The studio has just shared that teaser trailer along with a poster and images; we have it all below. The movie hits U.S. theaters November 10.
In the film, Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, reclaims her identity from the tyrannical Kree and takes revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as “The Marvels.”
Nia DaCosta directs the film with Kevin Feige producing. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos, and Matthew Jenkins are executive producers. The screenplay is by Megan McDonnell, DaCosta, Elissa Karasik, and Zeb Wells.
