Marvel Releases Trailer for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

Blockbuster crossover event movie has been ten years in the making and features characters from all across the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The first trailer for Marvel Studios’ upcoming blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War made its debut Nov. 29 on Good Morning America, and went on to receive more than 22 million views on YouTube by 4 p.m. PST.

An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Infinity War brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.

The movie is based on the Avengers comic book, which was created in 1963 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

Anthony and Joe Russo direct the film, which is produced by Kevin Feige. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee are the executive producers. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay.

Avengers: Infinity War releases in U.S. theaters on May 4.
