Marvel Drops ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Trailer

Anthony Mackie returns to ‘wield the shield’ as Cap himself, landing in the middle of an international incident – of course – and a nefarious global plot, hitting theaters February 14, 2025.

Marvel unveiled the newest trailer for Captain America: Brave New World during last weekend’s D23 Brazil fan event. Cast members Anthony Mackie and Danny Ramirez took the stage to greet fans before the new trailer was played.

Mackie stars as Sam Wilson, the new Captain American, and is joined by Harrison Ford as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, Ramirez as Falcon, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Shira Haas as the Israeli superhero Sabra, Giancarlo Esposito as Sidewinder, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, and Tim Blake Nelson as the Leader.

In the upcoming film, after meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.

Julius Onah directs from a script by Malcolm Spellman, Dalan Musson, and Matthew Orton. Kevin Feige and Nate Moore produce, while Louis D’Esposito and Charles Newirth executive produce.

VFX studios on the film include ILM, Wētā FX, Digital Domain, OPSIS, Scanline VFX, Ollin VFX, Crafty Apes, Clear Angle Studios, Day For Nite, Fin Design & Effects, UPP, and Keep Me Posted.

Captain America: Brave New World hits theaters February 14, 2025.
