Get ready for Kang!!! The MCU Phase 5 kicks off this February with the third installment of the ‘Ant-Man’ franchise; Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly reprise their titular roles.
Marvel Studio’s Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, which officially kicks off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is all set to hit theaters February 17. The highly anticipated follow-up to the 2015 Ant-Man and 2018 Ant-Man and the Wasp sees Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to reprise their titular roles.
Hoping to get you psyched for the not-too-far-in-the-distance release, Marvel has shared a new trailer – really, barely a trailer – just a tease. But the teaser, just dropped images, and poster do give a glimpse of things to come.
In the film, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the pair explores the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures, and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.
Jonathan Majors, first seen in Loki, joins the adventure as Kang. Director Peyton Reed returns to direct the film; Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard produce.
Get ready to be teased:
No word yet about who is producing VFX for the new film, but you may remember that the 2018 Ant-Man and the Wasp saw contributions from several leading VFX houses, including Cinesite, Digital Domain, DNEG, Luma Pictures, Method Studios, Rodeo FX, and Scanline VFX.
