Manson Joins Not To Scale Directorial Roster

Directing collective’s latest project -- an animated short that tells the fascinating story of Devo’s Mark Mothersbaugh -- was made in collaboration with BH Los Angeles for Google Play and The California Sunday Magazine.

Directorial collective Manson New York, NY -- Production and animation studio Not To Scale has added directing collective Manson to its roster of international directors. Composed of Tomás Peña, Pau López Peñalver, Martí Carós and Oriol Caba, Manson explores the aesthetics and narratives of contemporary urban culture.

“Manson is a great addition to our global community. They are mixed media experts with great vision, which stands out in their diverse styles from 2D to live action and 3D,” says Santino Sladavic, executive producer of Not To Scale.  

Based in Barcelona, Manson’s distinct and complementary talents know no boundaries. Their latest animated film for branded content series, California Inspires Me, a collaboration with BBH Los Angeles for Google Play and The California Sunday Magazine, which tells the fascinating story of Devo’s Mark Mothersbaugh, earning them a Vimeo Staff Pick.

Manson has worked with numerous clients including Nike, MTV and Adidas. Their talents also extend into the music video realm, having directed the videos for The Free Fall Band’s album, The Munster Sights, for the Grupo de Expertos Solynieve, Fandango De La Libertad and Pional’s music video “It’s all over.”
