LOS ANGELES, CA --

LOOK Effects has named industry veteran Jeff Wozniak as Digital Effects Supervisor. After 11 years with Industrial Light & Magic as Sequence Supervisor and Senior Digital Artist, Wozniak has made the move to the east coast to work in LOOK’s New York office where he will supervise current and future feature film projects. Jeff brings extensive live-action and feature animation experience to his new position.

His work can be seen in such high-profile films as Star Wars: Episodes I, II, and III, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (winner of the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects), Star Trek, Avatar, Rango (ILM's first animated feature), and the Transformers Trilogy. Jeff first moved from Minneapolis to California in 1990 to attend Stanford University, where he majored in Economics and Communications, and began working at several other Lucas companies right out of college, including THX, Lucasfilm, and LucasArts. Jeff also worked on Titan A.E. at Fox Animation Studios. His last project at ILM was The Avengers, which quickly became a worldwide box office phenomenon upon its release in May of this year.

"I am very excited to be joining the team at LOOK," says Wozniak. "They have produced a remarkable body of work over the years and have a number of exciting projects in the pipeline, which I'm really looking forward to being part of."

LOOK opened its New York office in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn over four years ago. Since then the office has produced the visual effects for film and television projects, including the up-coming Gods Behaving Badly; the critically acclaimed Moonrise Kingdom; Limitless; and the Oscar, BAFTA and VES nominated Black Swan. During its tenure, LOOK has become an active and vital member of the expanding New York post-production community.

“Jeff is a great addition,” says Steve Dellerson, Executive Producer and Head of Production at LOOK. “He brings us not only his vast experience and expertise, but also great energy, which will really benefit our artists and staff. Bringing Jeff on board is our latest step in elevating the direction we’re taking Look FX. We’re thrilled to have him.”
