LOS ANGELES, CA -- Visual effects company LOOK Effects announced that it has produced the VFX for David Mamet’s Phil Spector for HBO Films. The film first aired on HBO on Sunday, March 24 at 9:00 pm ET/PT.

Written and directed by Oscar-nominated, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Mamet, the film is Mamet’s exploration of the attorney-client relationship between music producer Phil Spector (played by Al Pacino) and defense attorney Linda Kenney Baden (Helen Mirren) who represented Spector during his first trial for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson.

“Our goal for this film,” says visual effects supervisor Henrik Fett, “was to help the director place his story in the time and place in which the action took place. It was an honor to be involved with this project.”
