Lead animator for ‘The Iron Giant’ currently completing post-production for live-action dystopian sci-fi feature, ‘The Chimeran.’
Loco announced that they will be representing Director, Richard Bazley.

Richard has a wealth of experience in the film industry, having worked for most of the Hollywood Majors including Disney (Lead Animator, Hercules), and Warner Bros (Lead Animator, The Iron Giant). Richard has also directed numerous commercials, Sky (Cool Cat) and Go Compare (Big Bad Wolf), TV Shows (Full English- animated sitcom), and TV Films (Lost Treasure Hunt). He is now directing Live Action, and his recent short film, Centurion Resurrection, has been named as an Official Selection for many festivals and has already begun to collect Awards including Excellence for Direction.
Richard says, “The work Loco did on Centurion Resurrection was outstanding. It seemed a natural progression to come on board as a director. Loco have a fantastic team of film professionals of the highest degree, and I couldn’t be happier joining up with them.”
Richard has several feature films in progress including The Chimeran. Written by Paul Goodenough and produced by legendary Star Wars producer Gary Kurtz, the live action drama is set in a dystopian future where our needs for mass production is fulfilled by the Chimeran, a genetic bred-for-purpose hybrid race of animals and humans. Loco’s 3D and VFX teams are involved in this exciting project. Richard is also developing a new script for a psychological thriller called I See Spiders. Distinguished British Actor, Tom Conti is set to play the lead.
