The story centres on a young pilot and his best friends, who embark on an intergalactic adventure to rescue the life-giving glows. Together, they pit themselves against the “I-wish-I-was-more-evil” Lord Shadowbot and his long suffering sidekicks who plan to steal all the glows and bring darkness to the galaxy.

“Little Space Heroes” started out as an online virtual world which launched in late 2011. The free-to-play game lets kids globally create their own space hero and embark on intergalactic adventures in a safe, fun and inclusive social game. Every day, tens of thousands of kids from over 100 countries blast off for adventure at www.littlespaceheroes.com

“Every day, kids from over 100 countries blast off for adventure in the “Little Space Heroes” virtual world. With this growing fan base embracing the story we’re sure they’ll be over the moon to watch the adventures of Ace, Kira and friends in an animated cartoon series. Our vision is to see the “Little Space Heroes” toons on TVs around the world in 2013, so we’re looking forward to talking with distributors and production partners when we attend MIP Junior in France.” Phil Mason, CEO Bubble Gum Interactive.

The Bubble Gum Interactive team consists of industry veterans with years of experience in television, online and mobile gaming including Graham Cousens, former Creative Director of Disney Channel.

“‘Little Space Heroes’ is a classic tale about fun, friendship, adventure and discovery. Drawing on our collective storytelling experience we’ve crafted the tale around the adventures of Ace and his space hero pals as they explore the galaxy in search of the dastardly Lord Shadowbot, a diabolical cartoon villain if ever there was one! It’s awesome to be able to draw on the incredible strength of the virtual world and create something for an audience that’s already hungry for more.” said Graham.
