Lipsync Vamps Up for Byzantium

LipSync Productions announced production of the forthcoming vampire thriller Byzantium, a co-production between Stephen Woolley’s Number 9 Films and Parallel Films, with LipSync Post to complete all post work for the film.

London, UK – LipSync Productions continues to expand its equity investment portfolio with another highly anticipated production, the forthcoming vampire thriller, Byzantium. LipSync Post will also complete all post work for the film, which is a co-production between Stephen Woolley’s Number 9 Films and Parallel Films.

Byzantium is the fourth Stephen Woolley production to come to LipSync; the facility has also provided equity investment and post services for Great Expectations (currently in production), Made in Dagenham and How to Lose Friends and Alienate People.

Currently shooting in Ireland, Byzantium isdirected by the Oscar-winning Neil Jordan (The Crying Game) and stars Gemma Arterton (Tamara Drewe), Saoirse Ronan (The Lovely Bones) and Johnny Lee Miller (Trainspotting).

Post-production is scheduled to start in June 2012. The film, which is due for release later in 2012, will be distributed in the UK by Studio Canal and will be sold worldwide by West End.
