The Lafayette Public Library has added animated versions of classic childrens books to its website www.lafayette.lib.la.us, reports THE DAILY ADVERTISER. This new feature, called Tumble Books, includes sound, music and narration added to read-along text.
The Tumble Book Library is a collection of licensed titles from children's book publishers, such as Scholastic, Chronicle Books, Candlewick Press, Harcourt, Walker and Co. Available titles include THE PAPER BAG PRINCESS, MISS MALARKEY DOESN'T LIVE IN ROOM 10, ONE DUCK STUCK, BLACK BEAUTY, ALICE IN WONDERLAND and ANNE OF GREEN GABLES.
Each book offers a text size slider, which allows the reader to adjust the text size of the book.
