The Eighth Annual London Effects and Animation Festival (LEAF) awards ceremony was held on November 13, 2001 at the London Hippodrome. Over 250 entries for the competition were judged by a panel that included representatives from The Moving Picture Company and Glassworks. Passion Pictures nabbed both the live-action effects and animated commercial awards, while SHREK collected another honor, taking home the award for Best Feature Film.
