Press Release from Kodak Animation

After all the early winter excitements (Solstice, Christmas, New Year) now is the time for the midwinter excitements: flu, snow and annual Kodak Animation Event!

Wednesday, January 12th, at 6PMatKODAK360 West 31st Streetbetween 8th and 9th avenues.

They'll show a couple of exciting sneak previews - David Levy's new film, and Pat Smith has a film hot off the press, then an animated doc on how an orgasm feels to different people, by Ruth Lingford, a high level suspense animated drama from Ru Kuwahata and Max Porter team, and black and white pure fun from Andy Kennedy.

Then, when you think you can't take it no more, they'll show line tests and color excerpts from Signe Baumane's work in progress feature. To conclude the event, Bill Plympton will show a couple of films he is racing to finish by the time of the show - the much talked about "Guard Dog Global Jam" and a music video he can't mention. You'll be able to ask any questions to the filmmakers you can think of and aren't embarrassed to ask in front of 60 people.

The refreshments (without alcohol this year) will be served at 6 pm. The screening will start at 7 pm sharp so that we'll be free at 9 pm to drink the alcohol at the bar around the corner.

It's FREE, but you have to RSVP for the event. Please RSVP to kodakfilm@kodak.com
