KLIK 2017 Now Accepting Submissions

Deadline for entries of short films, student films, commissioned works, documentaries and music videos, and animated virtual reality experiences is June 1st.

Calling all animators: KLIK wants your films!

Looking for an opportunity to show your work to animation professionals and enthusiasts from all over the world? Why not submit your animation to the KLIK Amsterdam Animation Festival? This fall, the KLIK will be celebrating its tenth anniversary! The festival runs October 17-22, 2017, and the deadline for submissions is June 1.

Animated works in the following categories will be accepted for the KLIK Amsterdam Animation Festival international competition:

  • Animated Short (films created outside of educational programs)
  • Animated Student Short (films finished while the maker was enrolled in an educational program)
  • Commissioned Animation (films commissioned by a third party)
  • Animated Documentary
  • Animated Music Video
  • Animated Virtual Reality
  • Outside of Competition (this includes e.g. films of which the duration does not exceed 25 minutes, art installations, and games)

Films selected for the categories Animated Short and Animated Student Short are eligible for the KLIK Amsterdam Audience Award and KLIK Young Amsterdam Audience Award.

The Call for Entries closes on June 1, 2017. The entry form can be found at www.klik.amsterdam, and all submissions are free.
