KidsCo to Launch in Greece

London -- 28th May 2009 -- KidsCo, the international children's channel owned by leading media companies NBC Universal, Cookie Jar Group and Corus Entertainment Inc., today announces that it has secured an agreement with the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE S.A.) for the launch of the channel into Greece. KidsCo, the home of entertaining and educational programming, will make its debut in Greece via OTE's IPTV service, conn-x TV from 1st June.

Today's agreement increases KidsCo's presence in the strategically important European territories, where the channel is already available in France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Russia, Turkey, Romania, Poland and Hungary. The channel will roll-out to additional key European territories throughout 2009. KidsCo Greece will be fully localised and the channel will also be accompanied by a fully languaged KidsCo website which can be visited at www.kidscotv.tv.

KidsCo offers three programming zones of preschool, kids 6-10 and family, which have been designed to fit audience availability and lifestyle, and feature great animated and live action content plus movies which can be enjoyed by the whole family. Viewers around the world have already embraced KidsCo and recognise how it connects families by providing safe, trusted, age-appropriate and educational programming to kids everywhere. KidsCo only selects shows with strong educational values, enabling kids to learn through entertainment. Families in Greece can look forward to enjoying much loved programming including SCLUB 7, BABAR, home grown programming such as arts show, JASS TIME as well as RUPERT, CYBERCHASE, MAX AND RUBY, SONIC UNDERGROUND and others as well as family movies including WALLACE & GROMIT.
