Kid Glove, Sticky Pictures Partner on 'Perry Parka'

Kid Glove Creative partners with Australia’s Sticky Pictures for the development and production of “Perry Parka Polar Possum.”

Los Angeles, CA -- Kid Glove Creative has partnered with Australia’s Sticky Pictures for the development and production of Perry Parka Polar Possum, a delightful new animated comedy series for 6-9 year olds.

Perry Parka Polar Possum tells the tale of Perry Parka, Mayor of the North Pole and a possum who sees everything as possible. Where others see danger, folly or just a crazy idea, Perry turns it upside down, which is the right side up for him, and leaps into action. The series is created by prolific children’s author/illustrator/cartoonist James Proimos (Swim, Knuckle and Potty Destroy Happy World, Generation O!) together with multi-award-winning producer/illustrator/animator Carlson Bull.

Perry Parker Polar Possum is a remarkable character. He’s an innocent optimist who sees the world through rose-colored glasses and gives everyone the benefit of the doubt,” said Kid Glove President Brenda Wooding. “We are thrilled to be working with Sticky Pictures on this creative new comedy and look forward to delivering a series worthy of the Sticky reputation for high quality entertainment for children.”

Donna Andrews, CEO & Partner of Sticky Pictures, agrees: “I’m in love with Perry Parka Polar Possum! The series is quirky, funny, very charming and indeed like no other. It is a joy to be working with the talented James Proimos, Carlson Bull and the team at Kid Glove.”

Perry Parka Polar Possum sparks a new collaboration between Kid Glove and Sticky Pictures to co-produce quality children’s entertainment for the global marketplace. In addition to Brenda Wooding, the Kid Glove team includes Heather Kenyon, who serves as the lead creative executive at Kid Glove.
