Toronto, August 29, 2011 – Disney XD gears up for an adrenaline-filled Labour Day Monday with the season two premiere of Kick Buttowski – Suburban Daredevil on Monday, September 5 at 5:30 p.m. ET. The premiere is part of a non-stop action lineup with a Kick Buttowski – Suburban Daredevil marathon airing from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. ET, giving viewers the chance to celebrate Kick for an entire day. Season two features several notable guest stars voicing characters, beginning with NBA All-star Dwight Howard and Entourage sweetheart Emmanuelle Chriqui in the first episode.

In the animated adventure series, Kick Buttowski – Suburban Daredevil, Kick Buttowski is an extraordinary kid determined to become the world’s greatest daredevil. Small in stature but big in heart, Kick takes on every stunt with unwavering enthusiasm. Aided by his loyal sidekick, Gunther, Kick rebels against the mundane and knows that when life throws him an obstacle, his only choice is to jump it.

In the premiere episode of the new season “Mow Money,” airing Monday, September 5 at 5:30 p.m. ET, Kick and his best friend, Gunther, are pitted against each other in grass cutting competition to earn money to buy the last remaining ticket to see their idol Rock Callahan (voiced by Dwight Howard). In “Love Stinks!,” when Kick’s mean brother Brad gets a girlfriend, Kelly (voiced by Emmanuelle Chriqui), Kick is overjoyed with his brother’s nicer persona and time away from the cul-de-sac. But when he discovers Kelly is using Brad for her cheerleading initiation, Kick must decide between sparing his brother from public humiliation or relishing his Brad-free life. The season premiere and episodes from the Labour Day marathon will be available on Disney XD OnDemand beginning September 6.

Other guest stars lending their voices for the second season include: professional skateboarder Tony Hawk, actors Ed O’Neill, Rico Rodriguez and Debbie Reynolds, comedian Will Forte, and ESPN SportsCenter anchor Jay Harris. New episodes of Kick Buttowski – Suburban Daredevil air Sundays at 8:30 p.m. ET beginning September 11. Viewers can try to master Kick’s infamous stunts by visiting DisneyXD.ca to play games including Loco Launcho Extreme and Line Rider.
