Kerry Valentine Joins Rubicon Studios Production Team In Los Angeles

On the heels of serving as supervising producer on the Rubicon/MGM co-produced Pink Panther & Pals now airing on Cartoon Network, Kerry Valentine has joined the Rubicon Studios production team as head of production at the Woodland Hills, Calif. facility; it was announced by Executive Producer David J. Corbett.

LOS ANGELES – On the heels of serving as supervising producer on the Rubicon/MGM co-produced Pink Panther & Pals now airing on Cartoon Network, Kerry Valentine has joined the Rubicon Studios production team as head of production at the Woodland Hills, Calif. facility; it was announced by Executive Producer David J. Corbett.

In her new role as head of production, Valentine will be responsible for the day-to-day production activities of Rubicon’s entire slate of animated projects including a new season of the 3D animated children’s comedy and adventure series, Ben & Izzy, as well as other initiatives that are part of Rubicon’s recently announced strategic partnership with Turner Broadcasting.

“Having worked with Kerry over the past two years, we are thrilled to be solidifying her position as an important member of our production team. Her demonstrated production skills together with an innate talent for managing people – and the entire production process – will serve Rubicon well as we build a leadership position in the Hollywood animation community,” said Corbett.

Considering the out-of-the box success of Pink Panther & Pals, I think we are off to an incredible start,” said Valentine.

Valentine began her association with Rubicon in 2008 as a production manager on Pink Panther & Pals and was quickly assigned the role of supervising producer. She came to Rubicon after serving as a post production supervisor at Funny Garbage on Young Person’s Guide to History for Adult Swim and on Harden High for MTV.

Prior to her tenure at Funny Garbage, Valentine served as associate producer at Six Point Harness where her credits include such animated projects as: El Tigre for Nickelodeon, Slacker Kats for ABC Family, Read A Book for BET, Bamimation and Where My Dogs At for MTV, Medium for NBC, and Wacky Races for Warner Bros. She began her career in television production at VH1 after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Television Arts at California State University, Northridge.
