Jill Lindeman New Disney Channel Marketing VP/Creative Director

Jill Lindeman joins Disney ABC Cable Networks Group as vp/creative director for marketing, Disney Channel, responsible for the creative direction and management of all on-air promotion for Disney Channel, Toon Disney, Jetix, Playhouse Disney and ABC Kids, including the development and production of interstitials for Disney Channel. Additionally, Lindeman has oversight of the creative direction for off-air initiatives including print production, online development and marketing collateral.

She reports to Matt Palmer, svp, marketing, Disney Channel, in Burbank, California.

Lindeman has relocated from London where she was senior account director, creative services at BBC Broadcast, since September 2003. She identified and nurtured new business relationships, developed and managed projects for broadcasters in all parts of the world and helped position BBC Broadcast at industry events globally.

From 2001-2003, she managed her own consulting firm, Amassmedia Ltd., an offshoot of the Future TV department at Razorfish Ltd. in London, specializing in the strategic design of both broadcast and interactive television. Previously, she started at Razorfish as exec director creative/account services and then launched and led the Future TV, Europe, department for nearly two years, specializing in interactive TV and broadcast design.

Before Razorfish, she worked for Lee Hunt Assoc. Inc., New York, from 1991-99, ultimately serving as exec director of design, guiding the launch and growth of the broadcast design division into a global leader. She also held the positions of creative director and exec producer of the company's Soho Pictures division. She joined Lee Hunt Assoc. as the companys first employee and, during her tenure there, played many roles contributing to its growth and success. She started as associate producer and quickly moved into producing on-air promotions. Later, as live-action director, she directed numerous award-winning promotions including the company's first worldwide production for Avon Cosmetics, directing crews and talent in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Guangzhao, Munich, Mexico City and New York. Lindeman also co-created the Lifetime series, THE PLACE.

She began her career in 1989 as a sales assistant at Pinnacle Productions, Seattle.

Throughout her career Jill has worked with numerous broadcasters and media companies including Disney Channel, Toon Disney, NBC, Lifetime, Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment, Channel Four, MTV, CNN, Arte, Discovery, VRT, CBS, Nickelodeon, Star News, DIRECTV, PBS, ESPN, BMG, Fox Kids, RAI, VH1, BBC America, Endemol and PBS Kids.
