All-new animated short pits our lovable hero against his old nemesis - ‘the kite-eating tree;’ classic Peanuts special ‘It’s Arbor Day, Charlie Brown’ comes to Apple TV+ on April 29.
Peanuts is celebrating Arbor Day, April 29 with an all-new animated short, Take Care with Peanuts: We Need Our Tree. In the film, Charlie Brown once again meets his old nemesis, the kite-eating tree - but learns some important tree facts from the Peanuts gang that cause him to look at the tree in a new way.
The video was released on Peanuts.com and Gonoodle.com as part of the “Take Care with Peanuts” Initiative, accompanied by curricula for Grades K–6 offering entertaining and educational ways to take care of the earth and its trees.

Apple TV+ will also celebrate Arbor Day with the classic Peanuts special, It’s Arbor Day, Charlie Brown, coming to the streamer on April 29.
A family-friendly activity sheet is also available for free download on the Peanuts website that shows children how to create a “tree journal,” with pages that provide space to describe, draw, and measure the trees in their neighborhood - and to appreciate all that trees provide.
