The Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) will begin accepting film submissions for the main competitions on Sunday, September 1; deadlines for the short film competition are November 15 and feature-length film competition is January 15, 2025.
The 32nd Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) takes place from May 6-11, 2025, focusing on artistic animated films and the promotion of young talent. Prizes for competition winners will total over 45,000 euros, awarded across five competition categories. The festival invites filmmakers worldwide to submit their works starting September 1.
Submission deadline for the following short film competitions is November 15, 2024:
- International Competition for animated short films
- Student Competition for animated short films
- Tricks for Kids – competition for animated short films and series for children
- Trickstar Nature Award – competition for animated short films on nature and the environment
Submission deadline for feature-length film competition, AniMovie, is January 15, 2025.
