Ingenuity Studios Expands NY Leadership Team

Joyce Boll named EVP of Features & Episodics; east coast post-production veteran will spearhead VFX house’s growth and presence in New York. 

Ingenuity Studios has named east coast post-production veteran Joyce Boll Executive Vice President of Features & Episodics in their New York office. In her new role, she will oversee business development in New York and throughout the east coast of the United States, furthering the company’s growth and presence in these territories.

“This is a great time for Joyce to be joining Ingenuity’s leadership team, as we continue our period of steady growth and expansion,” commented Ingenuity Studios founding partner and VFX supervisor David Lebensfeld, “Though we have headquarters in the heart of Hollywood, literally and figuratively, we also work with a great many clients in New York through our studio in Manhattan. We’re looking to Joyce to make an impact with her proven combination of industry expertise, time-tested relationships, and enthusiastic dedication to the business.”

Boll brings leadership experience in animation and VFX studios, having launched entertainment ventures within film, television, music, advertising, gaming, VR/AR, and immersive experiential venue arenas. Her purview includes Oxygen Media, V2 Music’s ecommerce business, Starz Animation, and her own global studio – Boll Studios. She has led VFX studio teams on projects including Russian Doll, Outer Range, Dexter, Black Swan, Limitless, Life of Pi, Captain America, Moonrise Kingdom, and Little Women.

Known to support young talent, Boll has taught, lectured, and advised at design and technology schools including the School of Visual Arts (NYC), Bezalel School of Design (Jerusalem), and New York University. She is a member of VES New York (and former board member), as well as the New York Post Alliance.
