Imira Entertainment Inks New Deals in Latin America

Spain’s Imira Entertainment signs new Latin American broadcast deals for ‘Gaturro’ feature along with ‘The Hero of Color City,’ ‘Sandra, Fairytale Detective’ and more.

MADRID -- Imira Entertainment, a leading production and distribution company specializing in kids and youth programming, has signed four key deals across Latin America and the Hispanic U.S. for its children’s content.

Cartoon Network brings Imira Entertainment’s Gaturro, the animated feature-length love story of two cats, to its Latin American channels. Discovery Latin America will air The Hero of Color City, the magical adventures of a box of crayons. Netflix is taking Imira’s live-action J.K. Rowling biopic Magic Beyond Words and the savvy sleuth Sandra, Fairytale Detective for Latin America.

Imira has also signed a significant deal with DirectTV for four films, The Living Forest, Crab Island, Entre Vivir Y Soñar and El Habitante Incierto, as well as four seasons of the animated comedy Rat-a-Tat.
