Imaginary Forces signs Interactive Creative Director Matt Sung.

New York -- Imaginary Forces has signed Interactive Creative Director Matt Sung. Sung comes to Imaginary Forces from Razorfish, where he served as Associate Creative Director and design lead for the 2013 responsive website redesign of Mercedes-Benz USA. Prior to that, Sung was a Design Director at Scripps Networks Digital for Food Network and Cooking Channel.

“We're incredibly excited to have Matt on board. His forward-thinking design sensibility, digital fluency, and track record of building digital products and communities are key assets to grow our interactive business, says Imaginary Forces’ EP/General Manager Gabriel Marquez. “Moreover, his engagement in the interactive community and creative use of social networks brings an expertise we've been anxious to add.”

“After following the work for over a dozen years, I am delighted to be a part of the Imaginary Forces team,” Sung adds. “Together with the incredibly talented roster of designers and directors, we will continue to push the boundaries of visual and interactive design.”

In 2007, Sung co-founded and built the online brand and social network design:related, which was featured in the New York Times magazine, Print, How, Advanced Photoshop, Mashable, Print Magazine and the Huffington Post. Sung also established a social media following of 500K users on Twitter and approximately 1mm on Google+.

As a former Design Director at Scripps Networks Digital, Sung led a team of visual designers on the number one food site, FoodNetwork.com, rebranded and re-launched food.com, the largest user-generated recipe website, designed and oversaw CookingChannelTV.com in tandem with the TV Network launch, and worked with the in-house teams to release the initial iOS and Android apps for “Food Network In The Kitchen” in 2010.
