Original music video pays tribute to Cartoon Network’s first 20 years.
Cartoon Network concluded its birthday-themed programming this week with the world television premiere of a sweeping, nostalgia-inducing original music video commissioned to celebrate the network’s 20 years of animated entertainment. Featuring original music by artist collaborative Mad Decent (M.I.A., Major Lazer, Beyoncé, No Doubt, and Usher) and original animation by London-based design shop ILOVEDUST, this two-minute music video spotlights nearly 100 cartoon character all-stars who’ve contributed to Cartoon Network’s remarkable legacy.
Shortly following its premiere, the music video was made available for free download at iTunes, Xbox and Amazon.com, as well as subsequent viewing at CartoonNetwork.com, Cartoon Network’s YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/user/cartoonnetwork) and Cartoon Network’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/CartoonNetwork.)
