Selections revealed in 9 categories including Best Feature Film, Best Short Film and Best Series; the winners will be announced May 14 at a ceremony in Madrid.
Finalists in nine categories were announced for the 5th edition of the Ibero-American Animation Quirino Awards. The awards, which were created to promote and value animation in the Ibero-American region, will be presented May 14 at a ceremony held at Casa de América.
Submissions were received from 12 countries including Brazil; Chile; Mexico; Spain; Argentina; Peru; Colombia; Uruguay; Ecuador; Portugal; and for the first time the Dominican Republic and Venezuela.
