I Got A Rocket! Takes Off For Disney Channel U.K.

Taffy Ent. has sold its new Emmy Award-winning I GOT A ROCKET! animated kids' and family series to Disney Channel in the U.K., Scandinavia and Emerging Markets. The 52x11' comedy series is scheduled for an early 2009 debut.

Produced by SLR Productions, in association with Taffy Ent., Sunwoo Ent., Peach Blossom, KI.KA ARD and Europool, I GOT A ROCKET! is based on the popular Australian children's book of the same name. The series follows the out-of-this world adventures of 12-year-old Vinnie Q, who receives the ultimate birthday present from his dad -- a cool outer space rocket with artificial intelligence. Although he thinks Rocket will make his life a lot more exciting, it actually gets more complicated -- with a comic twist -- as Vinnie and his friends go full speed ahead into some unbelievable adventures and misadventures.

The show is currently available in the U.S. on Kabillion, Network 10 and Nickelodeon in Australia, Gulli in France and Germany's KI.KA among others.
