Hulu Orders ‘Crossing Swords’ Pilot from Stoopid Buddy Stoodios

Adult-oriented comedy follows a peasant whose dream job as a knight falls way short of his ideals.

Stoopid Buddy Stoodios has sold the adult animated comedy pilot Crossing Swords to Hulu.

Created by John Harvatine IV and Tom Root, the series is about a peasant whose dream job of knighthood exposes him to a world of corruption, violence and sex. Harvatine and Root will be executive producers along with Seth Green, Matt Senreich and Eric Towner, reports Variety.

Stoopid Buddy Studios is best known as the home of the long-running hit Adult Swim series Robot Chicken; Hot Streets, also on Adult Swim; and the Sony Crackle series SuperMansion.
