‘Bob’s Burgers,’ ‘Archer,’ ‘Bless the Harts,’ ‘Duncanville,’ and ‘Solar Opposites’ receive multiple nominations in first-ever ‘Hilarious Animated Hulu Awards,’ that recognize the year’s best animated TV shows and characters currently streaming on the platform.
Hulu has just announced their first HAHA Awards (Hilarious Animated Hulu Awards), where starting today, fans can vote for the year’s best adult animated TV shows and characters currently streaming on the streaming platform. With 40% of Hulu’s viewers watching adult animation each month, the platform recognizes their audience’s growing appetite for mature-themed cartoon content; their commitment to expanding such programming includes two recent original shows, Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan’s Solar Opposites and Tom Root and John Harvatine IV’s Crossing Swords, which have both been renewed for additional seasons.
Awards will be given in 10 categories that recognize such themes as sophisticated pets, epic battles, and the best hangover performance. 40 “hilarious” nominees were announced today with Hulu favorites Bob’s Burgers, Archer, Bless the Harts, Duncanville and Solar Opposites leading the nominations with four apiece - including recognition in top categories like “Best New Show” and “Breakout Star of the Year.” Nominees were chosen in conjunction with Hulu’s network partners and show producers.

Hulu subscribers and non-subscribers can cast votes for their favorites in all categories on the official awards website or via social poll on Hulu’s Twitter channel through Sunday, July 19. The complete list of the 2020 HAHA Award nominees is listed below. All winners will be announced on Thursday, July 23.
