Hulu Greenlights ‘Animaniacs’ Season 3

They’re back and here to stay! - Ahead of its Season 2 release, Warner Bros. Animation picks up a third season of Amblin’s crazy popular animated comedy series.

It's time for A-ni-ma-ni-acs… again! The hugely popular reboot of the beloved Amblin Entertainment and Warner Bros. animated series Animaniacs has found a happy home on Hulu and seems to be settling in quite comfortably. Even before the launch of Season 2 (due out later this year), the streaming platform has given the thumbs up for Season 3. With more opening weekend social mentions than any other Hulu Original to date, the show is clearly loved by fans, who just as clearly want to see a lot more of Yakko, Wakko, and Dot.

After returning to their beloved home in the Warner Bros. lot water tower, the three Animaniacs waste no time in causing chaos and comic confusion as they run loose through the studio and beyond, turning the world into their personal playground. Joining the crazy trio are fan-favorite characters Pinky and the Brain, who will also return to continue their quest for world domination.

Hulu, Amblin Television, and Warner Bros. Animation join forces again to extend the legacy of the iconic, family friendly animated series. Steven Spielberg returns as executive producer of the series, with Sam Register, President, Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios, Amblin Television Co-Presidents Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey also serving as executive producers.  Wellesley Wild serves as showrunner and executive producer. Gabe Swarr serves as co-executive producer. Animaniacs is produced by Amblin Television in association with Warner Bros. Animation.
