Hornet Teams with Bejuba! for ‘Mutant Cleaners’ Series

Kids action-adventure series is the fourth animated TV project from ‘Rocket Monkey’ creators Dan & Jason.

NEW YORK -- Hornet Films has announced that they have signed with international boutique distributor, Bejuba! Entertainment, on creators Dan & Jason’s newest animated action-adventure series The Mutant Cleaners.

“Since the sale of our first show (Rocket Monkeys, 2008) Hornet Films has been busy creating content for some of the biggest partners in the industry,” said Executive Producer Jan Wohrle Stebbins. “Our new relationship with Bejuba! Entertainment expands our global reach and brings together two companies who share a common passion for creating quality content.”

Having made its debut during MIPCOM 2015, The Mutant Cleaners tells the story of a radical laundry cleaning product gone wrong and the cast of characters who are fiercely determined to defeat the mutant monsters resulting from it.

The Mutant Cleaners will be Dan & Jason’s fourth animated series created with Hornet Films, but marks the inaugural collaboration with Bejuba! Entertainment.

“Bejuba! strives to be relevant, exciting and cutting edge in all areas of media and programming, and our goal is to bring top quality children's entertainment properties to the global marketplace. We’re so happy to have The Mutant Cleaners as a part of that offering,” said President. “We’ve already had great success developing the content with Dan & Jason and we’re ready to take it to the next level.”

Dan & Jason’s extensive portfolio includes network TV and web series, as well as comics and critically acclaimed commercial work.

"We are super stoked about partnering with Bejuba! for this show," said Dan & Jason. "The high octane action, set in sweet character comedy, not to mention man-rats, kick butt heroines and zombie hot dogs, we live for this stuff!"

Hornet Fims and Bejuba! will be in Miami for the 2016 Kidscreen Summit next month with The Mutant Cleaners content in tow.
