Hopster Partners with Maxis in Malaysia

New VOD deal with Malaysia’s leading telco provider includes shows such as ‘Thomas & Friends,’ ‘Bob the Builder’ and ‘Teletubbies.’

LONDON, UK & KUALA LUMPUR, ASIA – Hopster has announced a partnership with Maxis, a leading communications and internet service provider in Malaysia. Maxis will make Hopster available to their over 11 million customers at an exclusive price. Additionally, Hopster will be supported Maxis’ market leading data offer that will enable users to stream Hopster’s content library without incurring data charges.  As part of Hopster’s deal with Maxis, families in Malaysia will enjoy a 2-month free trial of Hopster and will get access to hit kids shows such as Thomas & FriendsBob the Builder and Teletubbies.

As well as the children’s TV classics, Hopster offers its young audience a world of learning and fun through its suite of educational games that can be enjoyed on mobile and tablet. Based on multiple international curricula, the games add a new level of depth and interactivity to the video experience and ensure that using Hopster isn’t just fun, but also educational and stimulating.

This deal follows Hopster’s recent strategic distribution partnerships with EE and Vodafone, both of which see the telcos offer users Hopster bundled with other devices and services.
